I knew early on in my business, that in order to succeed in business, you need to be building robust systems and processes and you’ve got to have a good team to follow that process. That was something I needed to do.
After talking to Nomiki, I realized I have to do it sooner rather than later, before I get so busy fulfilling customers and not having a system in place for staff to follow.

That’s the biggest benefit. Now I’ve got a library of systems and processes that if my staff member does leave, I can easily onboard someone else to come on and follow that from start to finish.
Team & Business Is Growing
What else has changed? I’ve now hired, since working with her, I’ve now hired two more. I’ve got four working for me in total.
I’m no longer involved in the training because I’m not actually doing it in the first place, but my time isn’t used to train them on how to build processes.
Key Person Dependency Disappearing
If everything is dependent on you as the business owner to do everything, as soon as you’re sick or if you want to take time off, nothing operates anymore. It’s relying on you. That’s where if you’re a business owner and you want it to not be key dependent on you, this would be the right time for you to execute.
It’s a good investment. Even if you’re not a systems person, if you want to own the business and the business doesn’t own you, you need to build the systems processes and needs to be easily followable.
I think it’s a great framework to follow. Have a chat with because she can either do done for you, service or done with you. She’s absolutely great. She’ll keep the team accountable. Challenges Of Having Business Knowledge Only In The Owner's Head
The biggest challenge for me was the business was basically all in my head.
And that’s a dangerous thing.
Other people can’t read your mind.
So it became, even though I’ve implemented some basic systems in the past myself, it became very obvious given the size that we’re growing to, that we needed to have those systems out of my head in a proper documented process.
So we were fortunate to have our business coach who referred us to you.
And then from then we’ve actually made a lot of progress in terms of getting those things out of my head into systems and make proper processes so that we have a basis then to train our workers.
Any new people coming in can engage in that process and the system will be shown to them and they can hop in and out at their own pace to actually get a handle on what they’ve got to do.
